Camps

VideoGame.Net (VGN) – Game Design Camps are for  campers that would like to learn how to make their own video games. Each week we offer a few different video game design classes that are design for entry level to advanced campers. Any camp can be taken more then once, as projects in the camp become more complex as the camper advance in their technical and artistic ability.

Mine Camps are designed to teach you how to use Minecraft like you never thought possible. Using Minecraft on PCs, Tablets and Consoles, campers will make adventure maps, learn how to code, and work as a team on large scale projects. Any camp can be taken more then once, as projects in the camp become more complex and the camper advance in their technical and artistic ability.

R-Botx – Robotics Camps are designed for campers who like to build, use their imagination and would like to learn how to program. For younger campers you can take Jr. Robotics Level 1 & 2 camp. In this camp you will learn to program using Lego WeDo Robotics. For older campers, we offer Robotics 101 and Robotics Level 2 – in theses camp you learn to design and program Robots using Lego Mindstorms. Any camp can be taken more then once, as projects in the camp become more complex and the camper advance in their technical and coding ability.

Tech Adventures camps are designed to broaden and encourage young campers’ interest in technology, computing and engineering. Each week, campers focus on one or two core topics and are also provides two daily outdoor recreation periods which take them away from the computer and provides them with traditional day camp programming. Each session offers its own unique content. Any camp can be taken more then once, as projects in the camp become more complex and the camper advance in their technical and artistic ability.  

Tech Art Camps focus on a variety of digital art topics, including digital photography, graphic arts, 3D design, digital photography and web design. We offer a new digital art topic each week of camp. You are encouraged to take one or all of our Tech Art Camps.  Any camp can be taken more then once, as projects in the camp become more complex and the camper advance in their technical and artistic ability.

Do you love to build with Legos? If son, our Lego-Based Camps are designed just for you. For younger campers, you can build Super Hero, Minecraft and Star Wars projects and learn about engineering. For older campers you can build Robots and learn to program them. Any camp can be taken more then once, as projects in the camp become more complex and the camper advance in their technical and artistic ability.

Engineering Camps are for the camper that likes to build. For younger campers, you can build Lego based Super Hero, Minecraft and Star Wars projects and learn an introduction to engineering using Lego Simple and Powered Machine kits. For older campers, you can use your engineering skills to build robots, roller coasters and build 3 D worlds.

Our Programming Camps are for campers who would like to learn to code. We offer drag and drop programming for younger campers in the Jr. Robotics camps (in this camp you will learn to program using Lego WeDo Robotics). For older campers, we offer three programing camps: Programming for Gamers, a Modding Class for Minecraft and Robotics camps. Any camp can be taken more then once, as projects in the camp become more complex and the camper advance in their technical and artistic ability.
